Thank you for supporting Danaknit. Every item is proudly hand-knit with care. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Handmade Variations

  • Unique Items: Because our items are completely hand-knit, minor variations in size, texture, and color (due to yarn dye lots) are normal and are a celebration of their handmade nature.

Returns & Timeframe

  • 30-Day Window: You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your item to request a return.
  • Item Condition: Because our items are hand-knit, returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and completely free of pet hair, odors, or signs of wear.
  • Packaging: The item must be returned with its original tags and packaging intact.
  • Proof of Purchase: Your return must include the receipt, invoice, or proof of purchase.

Custom Orders

  • Final Sale: Custom-sized items (such as dog jumpers made to your pet’s exact measurements) or custom color requests are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless we made a mistake with the measurements or design.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • Our Mistake, Our Cost: If we send you the wrong size, wrong item, or if there is a structural defect in the knitting, we will cover all return shipping costs.
  • Prepaid Labels: Please contact us immediately with a photo of the issue, and we will send you a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

Standard Shipping & Returns

  • Change of Mind: For standard returns on regular items (such as swapping a standard size or color), you will be responsible for paying your own return shipping costs.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds

  • Inspection: Once we receive your hand-knit item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return criteria (free of wear and pet hair).
  • Approval: We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Payment Credit: If approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
  • Processing Time: You will receive the credit within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Important Note on Wool Care

  • Washing Damage: We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for items damaged due to improper washing or care (such as accidental shrinking or felting in a hot wash or dryer). Please follow the care instructions provided with your order.
