Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for supporting our hand-knit shop! Every item we create is crafted by hand with care using premium wool. Because our products are handmade, our shipping and delivery processes reflect the time and dedication required to prepare your order. 

1. Free UK Shipping

We are happy to offer 100% free standard shipping on all orders delivered within the United Kingdom, with no minimum purchase required. 

2. Processing & Production Times

• Ready-to-Ship Items: Orders for items already in stock are processed and dispatched within 24 hours. 
• Made-to-Order / Custom Items: If your item is being hand-knit specifically for you, production typically takes 1 week before dispatch. Please refer to the individual product page for specific timeline estimates. 

We will send you a confirmation email as soon as your order has been handed over to the courier. 

3. Delivery Estimates

Once dispatched, we use reliable UK couriers (such as Royal Mail or Evri) to deliver your order. 

• Standard Delivery: 2 – 3 business days from the date of dispatch. 
• Delivery Areas: We ship to all addresses across the UK, excluding the Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland.

Please note: These are estimated timelines. Delays can occasionally happen during peak holiday seasons, carrier industrial action, or severe weather conditions. 

4. Lost or Damaged Packages

We want your beautiful wool items to arrive safely. If your package is significantly delayed or shows as “delivered” but you haven’t received it, please check with neighbours or your local delivery office first. If it remains missing or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at info@danaknit.co.uk, and we will investigate the issue with the courier. 

5. Incorrect Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the buyer. If you notice an error in your shipping details, contact us immediately. Once an item has been dispatched, the address cannot be changed.
